International Coalition for the Children of Incarcerated Parents (INCCIP) Conference: Justice and the children of incarcerated parents
20-23 MARCH 2017 – ROTORUA The inaugural conference of the INCCIP will be held in Rotorua, 20-23rd March 2017. The conference themes include research, advocacy, working with the children of prisoners and including the voices of families and children. The Law Foundation is bringing speakers Dr Fiona Donson and Dr Aisling Parkes, both from the University College Cork, to New Zealand for this conference. Their presentation topic is “Developing a Child Rights based approach to Children affected by Parental Imprisonment: Thoughts from Ireland”.
