International Research Fellowship
The International Research Fellowship enables recipients of high ability to pursue a defined course of research either in New Zealand or overseas with the purpose of making a significant contribution to an area of law in New Zealand.
Applications close at 5pm on 1st September each year.

Distinguished Visiting Fellowship
In 1998 the Trustees of the New Zealand Law Foundation endowed a scholarship so that each of New Zealand's five law schools should have an opportunity to host a distinguished international scholar for up to three months.

Ethel Benjamin Scholarship (For Women)
In 1997 the Trustees of the New Zealand Law Foundation decided to mark the centenary of the admission of Ethel Benjamin as the first woman barrister and solicitor in New Zealand.
To that end they established this scholarship as a merit based award to outstanding women law scholars.

New Zealand Law Foundation Doctoral Scholarship (In Law)
The purpose of the New Zealand Law Foundation Doctoral Scholarship is to encourage postgraduate study and research in law in New Zealand. The scholarship will be awarded to a doctoral candidate who will carry out research in a defined area of the law which is for the benefit of New Zealand and its legal system, and which encompasses the wider objectives of the New Zealand Law Foundation.
Every scholarship shall be tenable at a law school in a New Zealand university.
