NEUTRAL CITATIONS

The following list indicates when the various Canadian courts adopted neutral citations.

Note that some earlier decisions have been given what look like neutral citations by the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII). These are not official and should not be used.

The Federal courts use different court identifiers for English and French language version of judgments. The English language court identifier is given first followed by the French identifier.
