The second CGT event this year, from the University of Auckland’s Business School and Faculty of Law, is a lecture scheduled for Thurs 11 September by Professor Eric Kemmeren from the Netherlands.

The Law Foundation has granted funding to bring international speakers to both this event and the CGT Conference run in July by the University of Auckland.

Both events have been aimed at informing New Zealand debate on CGT, but with a focus on what form a CGT should take, rather than whether NZ should have one.

Law Foundation is providing up to $13,000 to bring keynote speakers to the University of Auckland’s two CGT events being held in 2014.
