Public lectures by Professor Stephen Smith, NZLF's 2017 Distinguished Visiting Fellow

Professor Stephen Smith, from McGill University in Canada and also the Law Foundation’s 2017 Distinguished Visiting Fellow, is now part-way through his tour of New Zealand law schools.

On 10th August he gave a very well received public lecture at VUW entitled “Private Law Remedies: Foundations, Scope, and Structure”. Professor Smith will give further public lectures over the next two weeks – at the University of Canterbury on Thurs 17th Aug (same as the VUW lecture), then at University of Otago on Wed 23rd Aug titled “Rights, wrongs, and injustices: The structure of remedial law”.
