Victoria University of Wellington - Public Lecture by Professor Graham Virgo - University of Cambridge - NZLF's 2016 Distinguished Visiting Fellow

PROFESSOR GRAHAM VIRGO is visiting New Zealand during August as the New Zealand Law Foundation’s 2016 Distinguished Visiting Fellow.

Tues 9th August, at 5.30pm Professor Virgo will give a public lecture at VUW titled “Justifying the Law of Restitution – a case study in the nature of judging”. This will be held in GBLT1, Old Government Buildings, 55 Lambton Quay, Wellington.

Professor Graham Virgo NZLF Distinguished Visiting Fellow 2016

Professor Virgo is a Professor of English Private Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge. He writes and researches in the fields of Criminal Law; Equity and Trusts and the Law of Restitution. He has been a Fellow of Downing College since 1989, where he read Law as an undergraduate.

While in New Zealand he will be hosted by the Faculty of Law at the University of Otago and tour all law schools giving staff seminars and public lectures.
