Book launch - The New Zealand Project by Max Harris

~~~~11 APRIL 2017, ROYAL SOCIETY OF NZ, WELLINGTON
“The New Zealand Project”, supported with Law Foundation funding, will be launched on 11 April 2017 at the Royal Society of New Zealand in Wellington.
This ambitious project by an exceptional young New Zealander confronts the challenges that New Zealand will face in the coming years. Max’s analysis ranges across foreign policy, constitutional reform, race relations, education, health, environment, workplace regulation, homelessness and penal policy with a perceptiveness and insight belying his 28 years. He asks why New Zealanders seem disengaged with the politics that will shape our future. Max, a Rhodes Scholar, provides an “unashamedly idealistic” vision for New Zealand that demands new conversations about our country’s future.
The launch will include a conversation between Max and Mamari Stephens from Victoria University Law School. The book will be available for purchase at the event, and in bookstores from 10 April.
The book is published by Bridget Williams Books who are hosting the launch:
